How we clean
Deep clean (hot water extraction)
Hot water and cleaning solution are worked into the carpet, then extracted along with the dirt. It’s the most thorough clean for heavily used or stained carpets.
Best for: high-traffic areas, heavy soiling, end-of-tenancy and annual deep cleans. Drying time: usually a few hours, depending on ventilation.
Low-moisture clean (bonnet cleaning)
A rotary machine with an absorbent pad lifts dirt from the carpet surface using very little water, so rooms are back in use much sooner.
Best for: regular maintenance and areas that can’t be out of action for long. Drying time: much faster than a deep clean.
Upholstery
We clean office chairs, reception sofas, booth seating and fabric partitions. We check each fabric first and choose a method that’s safe for it.
Regular maintenance cleans
Carpets last longer and look better when they’re cleaned on a schedule. We can set up weekly, monthly or quarterly visits at a fixed price, so it’s one less thing to organise.
What to expect from your clean
We’ll always do our best for your premises, and we’ll be upfront about what’s possible before we start, not after.
- Most stains come out, but not all. Old or set-in stains, bleach, dye and ink can permanently change the colour of the fibres. If we think a stain won’t fully come out, we’ll tell you before we start.
- Worn areas stay worn. Cleaning lifts the dirt from walkways and around desks, but it can’t repair worn or crushed fibres. They’ll be clean, but may still look tired.
- Stains can come back as carpets dry. Sometimes dirt deep in the backing rises to the surface as the carpet dries. If a stain we treated comes back within 7 days, tell us and we’ll come back and treat it again free of charge.
- Drying times vary. After a deep clean, carpets are usually dry in a few hours. Low-moisture cleans dry much faster, so we’ll suggest the right method for when you need the space back.
- Fabrics are tested first. Before cleaning office chairs, sofas or fabric partitions, we test a hidden spot. If there’s any risk to the fabric, we’ll explain it and agree the safest option with you.
- Furniture. We’ll move chairs, bins and light furniture, and put protective pads under the legs. Desks, filing cabinets and fitted units stay in place and we clean around them. Please clear boxes, bags and loose cables from the floor, and move anything fragile or valuable.
- What we need from you. Access at the agreed time, a power socket and a water tap we can use, and details of any parking, loading or building security rules when you book.
